Tonoverse is built so that your inner life stays yours. The app has no accounts, no ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking. Tactevo does not operate servers that hold your personal data. The one thing that reaches us is an anonymous report each time a journey plays, explained below.
No account. Tonoverse never asks you to register or sign in, so we collect no name, email address, or profile.
Purchases. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. Your entitlement is checked on your device with Apple's StoreKit; Apple's handling of purchase data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Your listening. Tonoverse keeps a log of the journeys you visit so it can show you your own attunement history. That log lives on your device. If it syncs between your devices, it does so through your private iCloud database, which only you can access — Tactevo cannot read it. Deleting the app and its iCloud data removes it.
Journey reports. Each time a journey plays, Tonoverse sends one anonymous report to Tactevo's own telemetry service. We collect these for exactly two reasons: to learn which journeys people love, so we make more of what you like; and to understand how our visual and audio engine runs on different device hardware, so we can improve performance on your devices. A report says which journey it was, when it started, how long it ran and whether it reached its end, whether it played on the free or paid tier, and how the app performed — the device model and OS version, the app version, frame rate, thermal state, memory, and audio load. Reports are grouped by a random identifier the app invents for itself on first run, so we can tell that two plays came from the same installation without any idea whose it is. No name, no account, no email, and no location — the app holds nothing of the kind to send, and the service keeps no record of where a report came from. The service is operated by Tactevo alone, on infrastructure we rent from Vercel and Supabase; only Tactevo can read the reports, and they are never sold, shared, or used to advertise or to track you across apps or websites.
Motion. With your permission, Tonoverse uses device and headphone motion so the world responds as you move. Motion data is processed live on your device and is never stored or transmitted.
Journey downloads. Additional journeys are delivered through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) service. Apple handles those requests as it does for any iCloud-backed app; we do not use them to identify or profile you.
tonoverse.com uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and reports anonymized usage statistics to Google — see the Google Privacy Policy. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs and collects aggregate, cookie-free visit analytics — see the Vercel Privacy Policy. We use these only to understand how the site is doing.
Tonoverse is not directed at children, and because the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date. Since the app holds your data on your device and in your own iCloud, a policy change can never reach backward into data we do not have.
